Regional Forum

Learn how each of four different scenarios, including one developed at the Fall 2010 workshops, compare to OurRegion OurPlan goals and each other. Then help determine a preferred scenario for the region either from one of these scenarios or as a combination of the scenarios. With a preferred growth scenario as a guide, recommendations will then be made for supportive policies and infrastructure investments in the region in the next steps of the planning process.

Making Great Places Workshop

What makes a great place? And what makes the "regional DNA" of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties so unique?

Professionals from the region joined together on June 26, 2008 to discuss and discover the placemaking elements that most contribute to the character and distinctiveness of the region.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Peter Katz, the HNTB team leader for the BCDCOG's regional vision plan. Results from the workshop will be released soon. Photos from the workshop can be found here.
